The Real Deal - Testimonials

Harly came into my fitness journey at a point where I already felt strong and fit, yet I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. That disconnect was discouraging and made it difficult to truly appreciate my body.

From the start, she took the time to understand not just my goals, but also my lifestyle and home situation. She gradually helped me realise that there were areas I thought I had mastered—especially nutrition—that I actually didn’t fully understand. She also introduced me to strength training, something I’d never really explored before, and it quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed.

Harly has always been approachable, supportive, and responsive, consistently going above and beyond whenever I’ve had questions or concerns. I’d also add that while many people turn to personal training because they’re new to fitness, it’s just as valuable for those of us who’ve been passionate about it our whole lives. Thank you, Harly.

I started online coaching with Harly to continute getting myself back into fitness more after becoming obsessed with Pilates and build confidence not in any specific way but in how I feel as a whole. I think being at university really made me lose track of all the things I used to do and it just controlled a lot of my life which is obviously expected but having the new routine of going to classes, following my programme made me feel a lot more fulfilled in myself and my day to day life which I loved. My experience with Harly online has been amazing, she’s incredibly supportive and is there for anything I need wether it’s a simple question about a machine in the gym or if I’m having a bad week with university and I feel like it’s affected my fitness.

Since starting I definitely noticed a boot of confidence in my body and my abilities, I wouldn’t venture off into the gym alone before and I would now happily enter any section, ultimately my mindset was a huge change for me as this new routine helped me escape the work load of assignments by feeling like I can just go to the gym for an hour or walk my dog to get my steps in, In a weird way I didn’t dread these things they now made me realise that they bettered me and helped my relationship with exercise but also myself! The thing I like most about Harly’s coaching style is that even though it’s “online” you expect to feel like you do it alone but you really don’t, Harly is there at every point no matter what it is with constant check ins, daily messages, advice and encouragement and that definitely impacted my growth with exercise. Online coaching has got very well into my lifestyle, being a student and having a heavy workload of deadlines I thought I would struggle but we worked out what days I would be best to do certain things and achieve certain goals to help reach my full potential and even if there was a week I knew I would struggle because of uni Harly helped me work around it. I think the moment I realised it was working and I began to feel proud of the new work I was doing was actually just getting ready one morning and I felt different I feel confident in myself and I remember messaging Harly and feeling this sense of happiness that it was clearly paying off physically now as well as mentally.

If you’re someone who is considering beginning coaching for whatever personal reason it may be I’d say just give it a go, Harly is one of the most supportive people I have ever come across let alone a lovely human inside and out and she’ll be there for any issues along the way but also celebrate the tiniest wins with you and I think that’s the most important thing, is to feel accomplished with yourself no matter how big or small. Everyone has different goals and outcomes but she wil support your commitments and needs whatever they are. I would rate my experience 10, I never actually imagined what online coaching for me would look like, it’s never something I thought about for a long time, being only 19 I wasn’t sure what I needed to do but beginning Pilates made me realise I do actually want to start doing more for myself and feeling better but I didn’t know how and I needed to be held accountable for it because I’d give up all to easily, this experience changed that and I’ll be always be grateful to Harly for changing my perspective on fitness and not to mention the positive impact this had on my mental health along the way!
